The soil testing instrument Geo Tester-2 developed by IIT Kanpur will also now give reports on the health of the soil. It will check 12 nutrients in 90 seconds. Jayant Kumar Singh has prepared Earth Tester One and Earth Tester Two instruments. Geo-Tester is an instrument that gives information about Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, EC, Organic Carbon, Clay content. It is already in the market and helping farmers of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jammu, Maharashtra. This device is also in demand in Africa, Philippines, Nepal, Afghanistan.
